The Journal of Applied Biomedicine will publish AIZOME seminal research on the skin-healing properties of plant-derived indigo in December 2022. Together with research from the University of Cambridge (UK) and the University of Sharjah (UAE) AIZOME has undertaken the endeavor to demystify such agents and clearly indicate viable alternative topical steroids.
Together with Professor Dr. Wilhelm Schwaeble and Dr. Youssif M. Ali, both from Cambridge University, Aizome conducted a groundbreaking study of natural indigo dye on highly inflamed skin lesions to assess the effects on sensitive skin. The study is ongoing and the results will be published later this year.
